About

Design is my passion in life. I find inspiration throughout this amazing world we live in; the exotic color schemes found in nature, the excitement of metropolitan cities, and the geometry found in architecture all influence my thoughts and ideas. I am especially inspired by people, each of whom has a unique voice. I love sharing those voices and devising ways to represent the heart and soul of an individual or a company through design.

Since graduating in 2002 with a BFA in Art and a concentration in Graphic Design, I have worked as an art director and graphic designer. My career began in advertising with an innovative company in St. Paul, Minnesota. From there, I moved to Okinawa, Japan, and continued to pursue my passion for design with a cutting-edge marketing company and as a freelance designer.

As an award-winning designer and art director, I specialize in custom invitations and styling for weddings and parties as well as brand consultation for small businesses and corporations. Highlights of my work can be viewed on my portfolio page, which showcases projects such as feature layouts for Okinawa Living magazine, along with my work as art director for Under21 magazine.

Photography is another passion of mine. My inspirational photos depict my travels throughout Asia. I believe that capturing the true essence of a moment through a lens can leave an impression for a lifetime.
